Reliable communication in a rural site with no wired infrastructure.
Working from a rural location where wired broadband and phone lines are basically nonexistent. Is a GSM gateway the only way to get a professional desk phone set up out here?

A GSM gateway is definitely one of the best options if you have reliable mobile coverage, but it isn't the only solution. Many people in rural areas also use VoIP over 4G or 5G internet if the signal is strong enough. The right choice depends on call quality, network stability, and how many users you need to support. If you prefer traditional handsets, there are plenty of landline phones for office use that can work alongside compatible systems. I'd compare the total costs and test your mobile signal before making a final decision.
