Nasi Goreng ( Indonesian Stir Fried Rice with Chicken )

Ingredients :

  • 200 Cooked Rice (Use cooked Basmati for best Result)

  • 100gr Chicken Breast (Thinly Sliced)

  • 1 Fried Eggs ( Cook Separately )

  • 1 tbs Tomato Puree

  • 1 tbs Minced Onion

  • 1 tbs Minced garlic

  • 2 tbs Vegetable Oil

  • 100gr Mixed cuts Vegetables (White cabbage, Red Pepper, carrots, Green Beans)

  • 1 tbs Kecap Manis ( Sweet Soy Sauce)

  • 1 tbs Chicken Powder 

  • Cooked Prawn Crackers (Optional)

  • Crunchy Fried Onion for garnish (Optional)




Here are the steps to make a delicious plate of chicken fried rice:
  • Fry an egg separately in a small frying pan and set them aside.

  • Heat a medium-sized pan and add vegetable oil. Fry garlic and onions until they become fragrant. Then add chicken breast and tomato paste, cook for two more minutes until chicken is fully cooked.

  • Add the cooked rice to the pan and mix well with chicken. Cook for an additional minute.


  • Add kecap manis and chicken powder, mix well, and taste. Add salt as needed, add the mix vegetable.

  • Turn off the heat, and your scrumptious chicken fried rice is ready to serve. Serve with fried egg, prawn crackers, acar (Cucumber, Carrot & Onion Pickle), and a sprinkle of crispy fried onions.
