Spicy Sriracha Chicken Wings

Ingredients


  •  600gr Chicken Wings

  •  65gr tapioca Starch

  •  Vegetable Oil for Frying the Wings ( about 500ml )

  •  White Sesame Seeds

  •  1 stalk of spring onion ( Cut Diagonally)

  •  2 tbsp water


For the sauce


  • 160ml Sriracha Sauce

  •  60ml Golden Syrup

  •  60ml Malt Vinegar

  •  30ml Brown Sugar



Instructions: TO MAKE SAUCE :


Here's how to make the perfect sauce for your wings:

  • Heat the brown sugar in a small pan until it caramelizes (about 1 minute).

  • Add vinegar, golden syrup, and stir well.

  • Mix in the sriracha sauce.

  • Your delicious sauce is now ready to be used on the wings!


INSTRUCTIONS FOR MAKING WINGS:


Here are the steps to make crispy spicy wings with sriracha sauce:

  • In a bowl, mix the wings with tapioca starch until coated evenly. If the mixture is too dry, add a splash of water.

  • Heat up some oil in a wok or frying pan. Fry the wings for 10-12 minutes until they turn golden brown.

  • Take the wings out of the pan and mix them with the spicy sriracha sauce you prepared earlier.

  • For the finishing touch, sprinkle white sesame seeds and chopped spring onions over the wings for garnish.
